Starting in July 2008 the rate of VRT will be determined by the Co2 emissions of the vehicle. Until the 2007 budget, the amount of tax payable was based on a vehicle’s engine size.
VRT Ireland’s aim is to provide up-to-date information in a clear format whether you are an individual car buyer or a business. We have concentrated on the rates for all 2008 vehicles for the moment, if there are any older vehicles that you would like see here, let us know.
